Energy & Conservation Action Plan
ECAP represents a countywide information and education process by which Facilities will put into practice sustainable design and construction criteria for new facilities, retrofitting of existing infrastructure for better energy efficiency and operation modifications and other programs that will result in reduced consumption, lower energy bills and sustainable products. ECAP relies on ideas and support from all departments and has been successful in implementing several energy reduction projects.
In this section we will present the latest ideas on energy savings that you may incorporate in your everyday lives. Examples will include references to lighting, HVAC, recycling and green products that will help you save energy, money and contribute to a more sustainable environment.
