| Charles D. McGhee4456 River Road
Charles D. McGhee was first elected to the Board of Supervisors for the Henry District in 1999 and is now in his third term. He served as the Board’s Chairman in 2006 and Vice-Chairman in 2005. He represents the Board on the Community Development Committee, the Facility Space Needs Committee, the Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission and the Roads Committee. Mr. McGhee is a farmer and is the owner of Grainfield Farms in Mechanicsville, which has been family-owned for over 50 years. A native Hanoverian, Mr. McGhee graduated from Lee-Davis High School and also attended J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. He has served on many committees including being a Board member of the Virginia Small Grain Association. He is a family man and enjoys traveling, fishing, singing in the choir at their church and golf.
