Welcome to HanoverVolunteers

Hanover's address for volunteering!

Hanover County and its residents have a strong commitment to volunteerism. The Hanover County Department of Community Resources has been serving the community as a Volunteer Center since 1987.  The Department works with local non-profit, health-related and governmental departments to maximize resources and services through collaboration and citizen engagement.

The department is a registered affiliate of the national Hands On Network and the Points of Light Institute.

We are proud to partner with HandsOn Greater Richmond, an organization that links individuals and groups to volunteer opportunities within the Greater Richmond region. Through this partnership, we are able to offer you an expanded tool that supports volunteer engagement. We encourage you to continue to visit our site as a link to this tool as well as to be kept informed of local events and programming related to service in Hanover County. Note that the searchable tool lists service opportunities within Hanover and the Greater Richmond Area and is administered directly by HandsOn Greater Richmond. Click the "Volunteer" button below.
