Hanover County and its residents have a strong commitment to volunteerism. The Hanover County Department of Community Resources has been serving the community as a Volunteer Center since 1987.  The Department works with local non-profit, health-related and governmental departments to maximize resources and services through collaboration and citizen engagement. 

We are proud to partner with HandsOn Greater Richmond, an organization that links individuals and groups to volunteer opportunities within the Greater Richmond region. Through this partnership, we are able to offer you an expanded tool that supports volunteer engagement.
