Winterization Program
The Winterization Program was established to assist those in need with temporary heat saving protections from the winter cold. The project relies solely upon the support of the community for financial resources and volunteer manpower.
Each winter, through this program, volunteer groups weather-strip doors, wrap water pipes and seal drafty windows for over 70 households located throughout the county. This volunteer effort serves persons with disabilities, elderly and low-income families in need who meet basic eligibility criteria and are county residents.
