Mission

The Hanover County Community Services Board was established in 1972 by the Hanover County Board of Supervisors to provide community based care for persons in Hanover with Mental Illness, Intellectual Disabilities, or Substance Abuse concerns.

Our mission is "to provide, monitor and evaluate a well coordinated, high quality and comprehensive system of community based Mental Health, Intellectual Disabilities, and Substance Abuse Services with the overall goal of enhancing the quality of life and emotional and behavioral health of all residents of Hanover County."
