This 36-acre park, home of the Hanover Veterans Memorial, includes a large picnic shelter, tables, grill pits, recreational ball field, tot-lot, horseshoe pits, beach volleyball court as well as the Hanover Veterans Memorial, a tribute to honor military veterans killed in hostile action as well as members of the armed of the forces.

Hanover Wayside Park is open from dawn to dusk year round

Veterans Memorial

The Hanover Veterans Memorial honors military veterans who were killed in hostile action from World War I to the present day as well as those who have or are currently serving in the Armed Forces of the United States.

Donations  

You can help finance the project with your $100 donation. The $100 donation buys a brick 'paver' that can be inscribed with the name of any U.S. military veteran serving in active duty or who has been granted an honorable discharge. The brick pavers will form a walkway leading up to the Memorial wall.
