E-Recycling Event On Saturday
Do you have an old computer that you would like to recycle? Or perhaps some personal information or documents that you would like to have shredded? If so, and you are a Hanover County resident, you are invited to come out to the Mechanicsville Solid Waste Service Convenience Center this Saturday (Nov. 14) for a special e-recycling event.
Between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., anything with a plug will be accepted at no charge. This includes televisions, computers, computer monitors, computer accessories (cables, wires, keyboards, mice, speakers, etc.), printers, scanners, copiers, fax machines, telephones & cell phones, VCRs, camcorders, stereos and microwaves.
You can also bring personal information or documents that you would like to be shredded. Individuals can bring up to four boxes approximately 10” by 14” by 18” in size. This document shredding service is available to Hanover County residents ONLY.
The Mechanicsville Solid Waste Service Convenience Center is located at 7427 Verdi Lane (Rt. 710) off Pole Green Road.
