Master Gardeners Will Hold Two Informational Meetings

Hanover Master Gardeners have scheduled two informational meetings regarding their 2010 training class and the Master Gardener program. Those attending the meeting can learn more about the training, the volunteer commitment and the history of Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners.

The one-hour sessions will be held Monday, November 16 at 1:00 p.m. and Wednesday, November 18 at 6:30 p.m. Both sessions will be held in the Department of Social Services conference room at the rear of the Human Services Complex, 12304 Washington Hwy., Ashland.

Enrollment for the 2010 training is currently open and will close November 25. The 2010 Master Gardener Training Classes will be held from January 13 through March 29, 2010.
