Special Programs At Library Branches
The Pamunkey Regional Library is celebrating the holiday season with a number of special offerings in December.
On Thursday, Dec. 10, and Thursday, Dec. 17 the Atlee Branch Library will hold its 5th annual “Make It and Take It Holiday Ornament Class”. The Dec. 10 event is focused on children in grades K-5 and their parents; the Dec. 17 event is more appropriate for children over 10, teens and adult. The Mechanicsville Branch Library also will offer its own “Holiday Make-n-Take” program on Saturday, Dec. 12. Children ages 3-12 can listen to stories as well as make holiday crafts. The Richard S. Gillis Jr. Ashland Branch Library will hold a special “Baby Boomers Remember Ashland” program on Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 7 p.m. Local baby boomers will share their stories of growing up in “the Center of the Universe”.
