Pouncey Tract Road – The right shoulder of Pouncey Tract Road from Rockville Road/Walnut Grove Drive to Ashland Road will be closed in both directions from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. through March 15 for construction activities.  This project involves widening and paving the existing shoulders six feet to accommodate bicyclists and pedestrians. In addition, the contractor will upgrade road drainage structures and make adjustments to the road alignment to improve sight distance. Completion is expected in May 2011.

Intersection of Bell Creek and Pole Green Road – Installation work on the new permanent signal has begun. When completed, this project will extend the four-lane divided section of Pole Green Road by 1,000 feet east of the intersection. County improvements will also include more turn lanes and an upgraded signal. It is scheduled to be completed in July.
