Customer Service And Outreach Unit
The Customer Services division oversees the provision of quality service by providing Hanover residents excellent customer service through community collaborations and services that include the following:
- Emergency and Crisis Services

- Energy Assistance Program
- Information and Referral
- Marketing
Emergency and Crisis Services: Services are rendered based on available agency or community resources and are offered to families needing short-term assistance to resolve a temporary crisis.
Energy Assistance Program: Eligible low-income households receive Federal assistance with their home heating and cooling bills within funding limits. Weatherization referrals are made to the Capital Area Agency on Aging to permanently weatherize low-income households to offset the high costs of home heating.
