Make A Payment Over The Phone 
Hanover County now accepts credit card payments over the phone.
All major credit cards accepted: MasterCard, VISA, American Express,
Discover, and Novus. To begin:
- Call 1-888-2PAY TAX (1-888-272-9829) and follow the instructions.
Note: When paying over the phone you need to provide Hanover
County's jurisdiction code: 1020
There is a fee for this convenience. After you enter the
amount you wish to pay in tax, the system will tell you the fee
and add the fee to the payment. You will have the option to authorize
the payment. The system will give you a verbal receipt number. Prior
to authorization, you may cancel the transaction if the fee is unacceptable
to you.
